Go to: www.bccutah.org to register. You can select to ride any distance 15, 36, 45, 62, 80, or 104 miles. If you prefer to see who is riding what at our meeting on Saturday that's great too.
But remember this ride fills up fast and once it's full, no more registrations are accepted.

GET YOUR GEAR ON!
Jason from Staats Bikes (our sponsor) will be at our meeting on Sat. He will have samples of clothing, HR monitor, speedometer, etc. for us to look at. We will be placing an order with Pearl Izumi and Suunto on Monday, March 17. It is important that you look at the two websites BEFORE SATURDAY and select the items you want to order (or at least have a general idea) so that we can place this order with him on Saturday. We get 25%-30% off of everything! This is a fantastic deal. Staat's Bikes can also offer all GT and Schwinn bikes 25% off and 50% off service for bikes, and 25% off in stock product in the store.

GEAR YOU WILL NEED FOR THE EVENTS ARE AS FOLLOWS:
BIKING - shorts, top/jersey, socks, light over jacket, cycling shoes, helmet, cycling gloves
RUNNING - top, shorts, socks
TRIATHLONS - triathlon suit or shorts and top
Cotton is NOT an option! Please make sure for your own health and comfort that you are not wearing ANY cotton!
Heart rate monitors and speedometers will help you train and make your goals more attainable and easier to achieve in all sports and are highly recommended.
We know getting started in these sports (especially biking) is expensive - but remember that once you invest your money into the gear (into your health) that you will not need to invest that kind of money into it for years. And it is a lot less expensive than doctor bills would be if you get out of shape, unhealthy and your body starts revolting against you from lack of exercise! Keep in mind you don't need to purchase the top of the line ($200) cycling shorts, selecting low-mid range priced gear will suit your needs just fine.

INFO. ON OUR FIRST MEETING
FIRST TRAINING THIS SATURDAY, MARCH 14TH!!!
Please be on time, we will start promptly at 8:30 with the injury prevention and running technique workshop. Our meetings will be held at Nikki Brewer's house - 5899 Tolcate Lane in Holladay (just east of xcel).
To bring:
*RUNNING SHOES (Jenna will pick up the running shoes you ordered from SL Running Co. on Friday and bring them to the training - please bring another pair just in case they don't come in). Thanks to everyone who came to Salt Lake Running Co. for shoes
*CLOTHING - NO COTTON
*FOOD - For those of you who have volunteered to bring it. Thanks to everyone who offered.
*HEART RATE MONITOR
* Please bring $20 if you ordered a foam roller. Jenna ordered extra so if you didn't order one but would like one, there will be extra at the meeting to purchase.
*CLUB DUES - $20/monthly or $150/annually
